“He saved them for the sake of His name, That He might make His power known.”
-Psalm 106:8

In January of 2003, a group of men and women from Uganda and California were taken to the top of a hill in the middle of a village called Bukerere. As they looked out upon the vastness of this beautiful land, Jacques Masiko shared with them his powerful vision to start an orphanage where they stood. Over the next two years, eight children’s homes were built on that hill. With the spiritual and physical backing of Agape Baptist Church in Ntinda, 80 orphaned and vulnerable children were given a place to call home.
Since its opening in 2004, Agape Children’s Village (ACV) has expanded to include a church (Agape Chapel), a school (Agape Primary School), and a community water project (The Living Water Project). Our future expansions include a dining hall, an educational resource center, and a medical clinic to meet the needs of our children and the surrounding community.
ACV is dedicated to the children, to the surrounding community, and most importantly, to God. We employ Ugandans who, with the help of missionaries and international volunteers, keep ACV a healthy and happy home for our children.
ACV depends on the generosity of our sponsors and donors.
