Jacques Masiko: Founder & Director
I gave my life to Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour in 1958. I got married to Cecilia in January of 1976 and we have five children and ten grandchildren. Graduated from Makerere University in 1974 with Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and an M.A in Leadership and Organization Development of Azusa Pacific University in 2000. First Country Director for Compassion International Uganda for 25 years and a lifetime child advocate. Lam. 2:19 is my key verse on child advocacy. I have been the onsite Director of Agape Children Village since July 2013. Oversees the Agape Children’s Village, Agape Primary School and the overseeing pastor of Agape Chapel. My past Pastoral experience: Kampala Baptist Church, Agape Baptist Church and now Agape Chapel Bukerere. |
Azarias Nelson Kibaya: The Assistant Director:
I am Azarias Nelson Kibaya. I was formerly a Compassion International sponsored child. It's through the sponsored program that I gave my life to Christ on 24/07/1999. Before I finished my high school, my call to full-time ministry became very clear. I received my Diploma of Theology, and later a Bachelor's of Theology at Mount Meru University in Tanzania. I am the Assistant Director of Agape Children Village (ACV) assisting the Director/Overseer in supervising ACV staff. I manage all estate items and all ACV assets that includes: the maintenance of infrastructure such as all children’s hostels and the church building and the land. I also supervise the purchase of food and domestic requirements for children based on approved budget. It is my duty to supervise the payment of school dues, utilities and daily administration of the Living Water. Organizes daily spiritual devotions, discipleship follow ups and participates in preaching and teaching at Agape Chapel. Currently in charge of House 8 for the older boys. |
Ajube Joseph Kiiza: Child development program officer (CDPO)
My name is Ajube Joseph Kiiza. I am a born again Christian and work as Child Development Officer at ACV. I obtained my Bachelor of Social Worker & Social Administration in May 2010 from Ndejje University. My current responsibilities at ACV is that I provide Program Implementation over the assigned holistic child development components with intention of liberating children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty. I started working at ACV in January, 2015. I also manage program support for effective child development for the children at ACV. Have a primary and close working relationship the surrogate mothers and caregivers and the next of kin for the children to ensure, facilitate, and coordinate support for effective child development . I also initiate income generating activities, survival skills for further development and sustainability of the holistic program among the assisted children. Mobilize ACV Alumni so that they become a dynamic force that will plough back in child development through advocacy and participation in skill training , mentorship and discipleship. I work closely with the Assistant Director as a public relations personnel to develop the communications strategy and plan day-to- day communication activities within the office. |
Mpambi Norah: Child Development Officer (for the girls)
My name is Mpambi Norah. I joined ACV April, 2015 and work as Child Development Officer in charge of health related matters, counseling and educate child health, identify health needs. I am also the resident/temporary Auntie in charge of House 1. I obtained my Bachelor of Social Works and Social Administration from Kyambogo University in January, 2015. I am so blessed to be working with the children at Agape and I know that God has orchestrated my path to be here minister to these kids. |
Grace Kajoina: “House Mother” for House 2
My name is Grace Kajoina. I am a born again Christian and work as one of the mothers at ACV since 2003. I am also involved in many aspects at ACV; parenting, cooking for children on weekends when the cook is off duty, running errands for ACV -- such as paying bills, paying school fees, take children to hospital especially those with special cases such as HIV related sicknesses, managing petty cash and visiting children homes and maintain linkage with the next of kins for the children. |
Fridah Atugonza: “House Mother” for House 7 & Resident Cook
My name is Fridah Atugonza. I am a born again Christian and I work as a cook at ACV. I am one of the mothers at ACV. I parent the children of House 7. I am a biological mother of 7 children: 4 girls and 3 boys. dren homes and maintain linkage with the next of kins for the children. |
Patrick Mpagi: Driver
My name is Patrick Mpagi and am a born again Christian. I have been working at ACV for 5 years. I started as a maintenance worker and later on a driver at ACV. I transport children to school, clinics, and home visitations. I am single and I love working with the children at ACV. |
