It was a fun-filled day here at ACV. Today the staff of ACV hosted a "project center day" inviting the sponsored kids and their families from the community to join us for worship, games, health education, devotion, and food! The purpose of the event was to invite community families and enjoy time with the children of the "Agape Community Children Sponsorship". The children were so joyous as they listened to the devotion, played games, and worshiped together. The laughter and love of these children brought great fulfilment to my heart.
A testimony was shared with me today that will forever touch my heart.
A mother traveled on a bus and two taxies to ACV with hopes of finding sponsors for her three children. Her husband abandoned her, leaving her to raise the children on her own. The Agape Community Children Sponsorship gives her a fighting chance to raise these children with the means and education they need. Today, Jesus truly demonstrated to me that He is the ONLY One who saves.

This morning the ACV kids gathered in the Church along with sponsored children and their families from the community. You could feel the excitement from the kids as they sang hymns and actively participated in games. There was "Stuff the long johns with Balloons" and "Ping Pong Ball Toss". Parents played the games with their children and I could really feel the pleasure everyone was having. Then, it was time to serve breakfast which was made up of hot porridge and rolls and let me tell you, these growing kids can really eat!
After breakfast, we all went out into the field and played "Steal the Bacon" and "Bust the Balloon with Your Butt Relay". The kids love to run and hang with each other. The program ended with us serving lunch. There was rice, meat with gravy and dried fish stew. All the families were so warm and grateful for the festivities as they hugged us and showed their gratitude for the love we feel for their children.
