Christmas Festivities

12/25/2015

Everyone had a great time celebrating the Christmas holiday. We were invited to the festivities at the Masiko’s home. It brought great joy to be able to celebrate with the Masiko clan. And for those of you from CCLA, we even got to be with Joshua & Katie. Photos below from church at Agape Chapel on the 27th with the Masiko’s. On the 26th of December, we celebrated Christmas within our home (House 3 at ACV). We brought the Balli Christmas traditions to Uganda. We woke up and started the day with a good, big breakfast. Then as a family, we worshipped the Lord together in song, had one of the kids (Joanne) read the Christmas story out of Luke 2, spent some good time in prayer. We also each talked about what God has done for us this year and what we are grateful for that He has done. It was a wonderful time of focusing on our Savior. Then we had a time of opening a few gifts each. Below you will see Moses and Kibaya as they led us in some worship. And Joanne reading the Christmas story, and some of the kids opening gifts.
