The waiting prepares us for what we are waiting for. It grows us in our faith and endurance, which will be required in the next steps on the path that God is leading us on. It is challenging and humbling to wait for a miracle with the Agape Kids Choir, but God is not man, and He is worthy to be trusted. What does it say about how we perceive our God if we constantly worry about something that He has purposed, planned, and supplied for? His thoughts and ways are higher than ours, and whatever the outcome, we must trust the God who has been faithful in every circumstance and reigns sovereign over every moment. In the meantime, there are several pending projects that we have been pursuing and that we will recount here in order to become specific points of prayer. This last week, we drove a few hours to look at a project in Kamuli. Located there is a small band of about forty children who attend school at a small church. They are seeking sponsors for the children and were very grateful and hopeful for any involvement on our part. Please continue to pray for guidance in how we should pursue a relationship in ministry with them. In addition, we are anticipating a large Christmas party with ACV and ACCS sponsored children this upcoming Thursday. We scouted out the property today: a large place complete with a swimming pool, zoo, bounce houses and playing field. We are excited for the kids to enjoy a day away from normal life. Finally, the choir has once again begun to practice in earnest in anticipation of coming to the US later this month. They have reinstated exercise into their routine, and have been working long hours on their singing and dancing. Please, please, please keep praying for all of the above! There are so many different aspects of all the things God is doing, and we desperately need His guidance and favor in each. Thank you so much for praying with us and believing that God will bring a miracle for the Agape Kids Choir. We serve an amazing God who is able to do exceedingly more than we can ask or think. | Visit to small school in Kamuli. Choir practicing their music. |
